The white color version of the highly popular Samsung I9000 Galaxy S hit the Spanish and UK markets some time ago and now, right on time for Christmas, the white device is ready to start selling over in Germany as well.
The casing color put aside, this is actually the same Samsung Galaxy S we reviewed and compared to the iPhone 4 a while ago and you should know pretty well by now. It sports a gorgeous 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen and right underneath it there is the 1GHz Hummingbird processor accompanied by 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM and 8 or 16GB storage (user expandable, thanks to the inbuilt microSD card slot).
It also features a 5MP autofocus camera with nice 720p HD video recording and all-you-can-eat connectivity options. Unlike the Gingerbread-powered Samsung-made Google Nexus S, the I9000 is still serving Froyo but there is still a chance for the Android 2.3 to come on board.
The white Samsung Galaxy S is already available in Spain, Germany and probably many other countries around the globe. Currently, the black Galaxy S 8GB is sold for around €415 while the white one costs some €40 more (around €455).
