Samsung and Verizon Wireless teamed up to release a new handset, the Haven. This dual band CDMA device is packaged in a sleek folder design that is built for everyday use.
The Haven comes equipped with a large 2.2-inch display that will allow users to easily read text messages and phone numbers. The Haven’s external display also shows time, caller ID, and battery status. The phone offers adjustable font sizing for ease of viewing and offers users one touch access to voicemail, speakerphone, and emergency numbers. The device’s battery should be good for up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 14 days of standby. Mobile users should enjoy the handsfree options the handheld has to offer, including Bluetooth headsets and the previously mentioned integrated speakerphone.
The Samsung Haven is available online at Verizon’s website now and will be in retail locations starting July 29. It sells for US$39.99 with a new two-year service agreement.
