The BlackBerry Torch is, at least for now, the brand new flagship device of RIM. The smartphone has been just announced in the USA and will be available in AT&T stores starting with August 12, but the AT&T is not the only North American carrier to get it.

Telus is now said to sell the BlackBerry Torch starting with September 16 and it’s the first of the Big Three Canadian carriers to come out with a release date. Bell and Rogers are also going to sell the Torch, and we wouldn’t expect anything different, but there are no arrival dates available now.

As for pricing details, well, we still have to wait for them, although we’ll probably see the Canadian BlackBerry Torch be offered for $199 on new 3-year contracts. Are you buying the Torch or are you waiting for some other BlackBerry smartphone to be released this year?
