The Motorola Admiral has been leaked in the form of a spy photo revealing the device itself along with its specifications. It seems like we are dealing with a BlackBerry-esque device sporting a portrait QWERTY keyboard and support for Sprint’s Direct Connect network. What will allegedly tick under its hood is a Qualcomm MSM8655 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz, and a 3.1-inch VGA display will grace its front. Other goodies include a 5-megapixel camera with flash capable of shooting 720p video, a beefy 1860mAh battery, GPS, and Wi-Fi-hotspot functionality.

If that is not enough, the rumor adds that the Motorola Admiral runs Andorid 2.3 Gingerbread and is built to military specs (810G), which includes resistance to dust, shock, solar radiation and extreme temperatures.

Of course, you have to bear in mind that all of this is just a rumor and the Motorola Admiral has never been unveiled officially. However, it is shaping up to be a pretty impressive blend between a smartphone and a rugged phone, at least on paper. The Samsung Conquer 4G is a WiMax enabled Android handset that you won’t confuse for say, the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G. There is the matter of that 3.5 inch screen with resolution of 320 x 480. And the Qualcomm MSM8655 1GHz single-core processor is so 2010. On the back is a 3.2MP camera that was hot stuff back in the days of the LG Dare. Yet, the Samsung Conquer 4G isn’t totally designed for the Flintstone-era. Android 2.3 is installed and there is a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Of course, with 4G in the name of the phone, the handset is enabled for WiMax coverage. The Swype keyboard comes with the phone right out of the box.

Priced at $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a signed 2-year contract, the Samsung Conquer 4G appears just in time to give your kid going off to college, or for the first-time smartphone user unsure if he/she can handle all of those widgets and apps. The off-contract price is $399.99. Either way, you are getting Gingerbread and 4G connectivity for only $100. At a time when the price bar for new Android phones has been moved higher than the $199.99 that we have been accustomed to, the Samsung Conquer 4G has a refreshing price tag on the device-as long as you don’t mind some out of date specs.

As far the feel, the device is extremely solid and we’re loving the futuristic styling of the design, complete with angled corners. Also, the glossy bezel contrasts beautifully with the rubberized soft-touch case back. The phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and felt incredibly snappy during the time we spent with it. The Motorola Photon 4G is scheduled to launch this summer, though pricing information has not yet been announced. Similar to the DROID Pro that was released on Verizon Wireless last year, the XPRT features a 3.1-inch, HVGA touchscreen display with 480 x 320 pixels of resolution. It also has a full QWERTY keyboard and a 1GHz processor. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo and features Motorola’s custom MOTOBLUR interface. Adobe Flash 10 support is present as well.

The XPRT’s claim to fame is the 256-bit encryption and controls for data management. IT departments will have the ability to remotely handle enabling PIN or password lock, password recovery, and data wipe on both the phone and the SD card in the event the XPRT gets lost or stolen from the end-user.

The XPRT is also capable of roaming globally, and features a 5 megapixel camera with a dual-LED flash. Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support are present as well. A large 1860mAh battery should power the XPRT through a whole day, though Sprint has not released any expected battery claims.

The Motorola XPRT is due to hit shelves on June 5, and will cost $129.99 with a new two-year agreement.

The leaked ROM that lead to this discovery is already being ported to the HTC EVO 4G and devs say there’s a good chance they’ll get the 4G (WiMAX) connectivity going, which is usually a problem with custom ROMs.

The ROM is riddled with clues that the Kingdom is in fact the HTC EVO 3D – there’s Sprint’s name, the WiMAX hardware support, the qHD screen and a handful of 3D apps and widgets.

Another disappointing conclusion is that the HTC Kingdom isn’t the GSM-flavored EVO 3D that HTC France seemingly confirmed.

On the up side, if the ROM porting goes okay, HTC EVO 4G owners will get Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread with the latest HTC Sense UI, which old devices like the 4G won’t be getting through official channels.

According to the “still not official confirmed report,” the CDMA-based carrier will get the HTC Mazaa, which as far as we understood is their own version of the HTC Trophy (which should be sold by Verizon Wireless).

Specs wise, we’re talking about an all-touchscreen smartphone that comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and other “standard for a Windows Phone device” goodies. The rumor goes on suggesting the Mazaa will use DDR2 memory to improve overall speed. Not sure that can compensate for the lack of a dual-core processor, but as they say – better something than nothing.

When it was launched, HTC also announced their first ever WP7 devices, and at the moment they are offering a good line up of it. As HTC recently announced HTC Sensation which is an Android powered handset, it looks like HTC is now paying their full attention towards WP7. XDA-developers  has posted the first leaked shots of a WP7 phone which is codenamed as HTC Mazaa and it’s rumored to hit Sprint in next 6 months.  XDA is saying that it’s possible that this device is first ever WP7 world phone, because the IMEI number is telling them that the device comes with GSM capabilities, so may be Sprint customers will see a first world phone soon. If you don’t know what is a world phone, then let me tell you that world phone is a phone that offers multi band i.e. this device is capable to run on either GSM or CDMA.

About the specs, it’s running WP7 obviously, a faster DDR2 memory, 3.7 inch touchscreen display, and a camera with LED flash. That’s all we know at the moment about the device. So Sprint folks, are you looking forward to this device or you are waiting for Nokia WP7 device?

Sprint is touting the recyclable and eco-friendly materials that the Replenish is manufactured with, claiming a full 82 percent of the phone is made of recyclable materials. The packaging that the Replenish comes in is also 100 percent recyclable – complete with soy-based inks. The wall charger is also compliant with EC Code of Conduct on Energy Efficiency of External Power Supplies, Version 4, and includes a visible alert to inform the user when the phone is fully charged and can be unplugged from the wall.

Another first is claimed with the Replenish: it has the first solar charging battery cover for a wireless phone in the U.S. Under the hood is a 600MHz processor and 256MB of RAM. There is 512MB of internal storage and the Replenish comes with a 2GB microSD card loaded into the microSD slot that supports cards as large as 32GB in size. The 2.8-inch touchscreen has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and the whole phone is 2.4in x 4.8in x 0.5in (61mm x 122mm x 12.7mm) and weighs in at 4.1oz (116g). Around back is 2 megapixel camera and the 1160mAh battery that sits under the rear cover. Sprint claims the Replenish will get up to 5.4 hours of talk time from a full charge. A Wi-Fi radio, GPS capabilities, and Bluetooth 2.1 round out the feature specs.

The Replenish runs Android 2.2 Froyo as its OS and has Sprint ID pre-loaded for easy customization by users. The Green ID pack is pre-loaded and gives users easy access to apps and content designed to help them live a “greener lifestyle.”

The Replenish will be available for $49.99 with a new two-year agreement on May 8 and comes in two colors: Onyx Black and Arctic Blue. A Raspberry Pink color version will arrive later in June. Sprint is also waiving the $10 monthly add-on fee that normally applies to smartphones for the Replenish.

The Android smartphone will cost $199.99 for a new two-year service agreement or $699.99 without contract. The device is available for pre-order now.

The Nexus S 4G is a variant of the original Nexus S that includes a WiMAX radio for 4G connectivity on Sprint’s wireless network. The device also sports a large, contoured 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a speedy 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, user and rear facing cameras, 16GB of internal memory, NFC hardware, and Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The EVO 3D is a powerhouse of a device, with a dual-core Snapdragon processor running at 1.2GHz, qHD screen with 960×450-pixel resolution, and those stereoscopic cameras on the back. The rear cameras have a resolution of 5 megapixels. On the front there is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat. It has a 1730mAh battery, as well.

The processor in the EVO 3D is a new generation of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor that allows for two cores to run at different speeds depending on load. This will provide better battery life than previous dual-core processors that have to run each core at the same speed all the time, such as the NVIDIA Tegra 2.

Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC’s latest version of Sense runs the show here. Content can be recorded and viewed in 3D on the EVO 3D without glasses. Recorded content can be displayed on a 3D HDTV via the HDMI out on the EVO 3D. It also supports DLNA for wireless streaming, albeit in 2D.

The EVO 3D is due this summer with pricing yet to be announced.
