The device looks like a mix of the well-known BlackBerry900, with a trackpad instead of the older trackball. The BlackBerry 9700 Bold has almost the same specs namely, the e-mail and messaging functions are the same, as well as the support network. This also means that the BlackBerry Bold 9700 should be equipped with UMTS, HSDPA and WiFi. That is of course far from bad, but there are no renewals. The only thing that seems to be changed is the track ball, that is replaced by a trackpad.
