Today Sprint and Samsung announced the SPH-m350 Seek, a touchscreen feature phone with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard.
The Seek comes equipped with a 2.6-inch 320 x 240 pixel touchscreen display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB of additional memory. It also offers a music player, a web browser, voice commands, and a “Favs Screen,” that you can customize with your most used applications. Samsung says the phone’s 1,000mAh battery is good for up to 5.8 hours of talk time.
Samsung and Sprint are trying a new recycling solution with the launch of the Seek, in which new owners can ship their old phone, batteries, and accessories, inside the Seek’s packaging with a post-paid paper mailing label.
The Seek is available in Cool Blue and scarlet Red in all Sprint retail channels for $29.99 with a 2-year contract and a $50 mail-in-rebate. A Fantasy Pink color will launch on June 6th.
