There is a new Samsung smartphone headed for the Russian market, it is codenamed Samsung WiTu Pro and should become available in October 2010 for approximately $420.

The upcoming Samsung smartphone makes use of Windows Mobile 6.5.3 as the operative system (including Microsoft Office Mobile 2010 applications) and comes pre-loaded with Opera Mobile as the web browser. The technical details of the Samsung WiTu Pro include a 2.62-inch touchscreen with 320×320 being the resolution, a 3.2-megapixel on the back for photos and videos plus another camera on the front for video calls, and also a microSD memory slot for cards with 32GB of storage. The usual goodies are GPS, WiFi, a FM tuner, Bluetooth 2.1, and 2GB of internal memory.
