Oddly enough, I just got an email from Samsung late tonight with an official announcement: the Samsung Behold II , aka the T939, is on its way to T-Mobile USA, and it will have a few goodies.
The Behold II will indeed have Android. Most rumors had pointed toward the Behold being an Android handset, but it is nice to know that Samsung has officially confirmed this now. Samsung will actually be integrating its proprietary Touchwiz UI into Android.
It will also be packing:
* 3.2″ AMOLED full touchscreen
* WiFi
* T-Mo 3G
* Up to 16 GB expandable memory
* Bluetooth 2.1
* Visual Voicemail
* 5 MP camera with autofocus and flash and video capabilities
So that’s the basic info from the press release, though we’ll include it underneath some smooth-looking press shots.
