Samsung’s first Bada OS device, the Wave S8500 is coming to Canada, it seems, courtesy of Bell. The carrier recently announced this debut and the handset is supposed to go live in the next few months for a yet unannounced price.

Today LG briefly announced the Optimus Q, a new Android powered smartphone with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. LG hasn't yet discussed any of the features of the phone, but based on the pictures, the phone looks to have a roomy touchscreen, a custom LG user interface on top of Android, and a large QWERTY keyboard. Announced two weeks ago in India (and not yet available for purchase), the ultra-cheap Nokia X2 has received FCC’s approval to be used in the US. The phone is a GSM/EDGE-only device, and since it has quad-band connectivity, it can be used on any non-CDMA carrier in North America (AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, you name it).
