Cricket announced that it is launching the Kyocera RIO, a touchscreen feature phone.
The Kyocera RIO offers a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display and offers a new MyHomeScreen interface that provides up to three customizable homescreens. It also has a 1.3MP camera, a microSD card slot, stereo Bluetooth support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Cricket is also loading its Cricket Navigator software for voice-guided turn-by-turn directions.

Samsung announced a partnership with Giorgio Armani to create an exclusive edition Galaxy S Android smartphone.
The Giorgio Armani Samsung Galaxy S looks a lot like the AT&T Samsung Captivate. Verizon Wireless announced that it will soon offer the LG Vortex, its latest Android 2.2 Froyo smartphone.
