It’s not everyday that we see a new Nokia smartphone, especially not recently but we’re not going to get all excited about this Nokia 5250 in the picture here. The phone looks great but unfortunately it’s just another dumb smartphone. In other words, it doesn’t run Symbian^3 and it won’t have a fighting chance against the top Android devices.

But that doesn’t mean the phone will not appeal to the masses, especially as it will probably be a very affordable choice in various markets. The Nokia 5250 is probably supposed to replace the Nokia Nuron or Nokia 5230 released not so long ago by T-Mobile.

We have no specs and features for the 5250 just yet and there are no details about pricing and release date either but, since an image of the device has already been leaked to the public we can only assume it will be launched in the near future.
