Today Verizon Wireless announced the LG Cosmos, a QWERTY feature phone. The budget friendly Cosmos offers a 1.3 megapixel camera, and quick access to Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace, among other social networks.
The relatively basic phone also offers Bluetooth 2.1 support, aGPS, and a “voice clarity function” that allows you to adjust voice clarity based on the noise level around you (sounds like volume controls to us). Favorite keys for ten contacts, one-touch speakerphone, and web-based email round out the features. The LG Cosmos will be available beginning on March 25th online and in Verizon Wireless stores. It will retail for $29.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and with a two-year contract.
