Still heady from the Cookie’s 7-million run, LG seems to have learned that another mid-range touchscreen device is just another way to make more headway in the market. Enter GD510 Pop, a new touchscreen device that wraps a sleek brushed aluminum case around a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, a 3mpx camera, 8GB of internal memory, and a solitary multipurpose button. There is no indication whether this will get the same widget-based Flash UI as the Cookie, but with a release slated for mid-October in the European continent, we will not have to wait long to find that out and other details like its pricing.
