The phone uses Android 2.2 Froyo OS and boasts of exquisite features which will look forward to attract consumers wanting a high-end smartphone. Desire Z is powered by a 800 MHz Scorpion processor and is equipped with a 3.7 inches S-LCD capacitive touch screen. The phone coupled with QWERTY keypad and HTC Sense User Interface (UI) looks to give users a great experience. The phone offers standard connectivity options and the memory can be expanded to a staggering 32GB with the help of a microSD card slot. Desire Z boasts of a 5 mega-pixel camera which is capable of clicking pictures of resolution 2592×1944 pixels and the camera is integrated with advanced features like autofocus and LED flash.
Ajay Sharma, country head of HTC India said that HTC always endeavors to take cell phone experience to a newer level and HTC Desire Z is an example of it. He further said that the robust features of the phone will help users experience seamless connectivity and that the company is upbeat about the prospects of the phone in the Indian market. The phone can be snapped for Rs 25,590 from HTC resellers across India.
