The BlackBerry Curve 9300, unofficially announced by Research in Motion (RIM), has been launched by Rogers in Canada and is the first GSM BlackBerry Curve with 3G support.
The BlackBerry Curve 9300 measures 109mm x 60mm x 13.88mm (4.29in x 2.3in x .54in) and weighs 106g (3.73 ounces). It is also the first GSM Curve with 3G data speeds. The Curve 9300 sports an optical trackpad in place of the trackball, 802.11 b/g/n data speeds, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera, GPS, and a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 pixel display. Under the hood it has 256MB of memory, and can support microSD cards up to 32GB in capacity. The device has a rated talk time of up to 4 hours.
The BlackBerry Curve 9300 is making its debut on Rogers and is priced at $79.99 with select 3-year plans or $399 without a contract.
