Today Samsung announced the a597 Eternity II for AT&T. The device sports a full 3-inch touchscreen display, as well as support for AT&T’s Mobile TV service, which is free for a limited time.

The Eternity II offers a full HTML browser, smart gesture support, AT&T Music, AT&T Navigator, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth v2.1+ EDR, and a microSD card slot that supports microSD cards up to 32GB in size.

The Eternity II will also come with AT&T’s Social Net application which provides a feed of all for social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.

The Eternity II will be available from AT&T beginning on August 15th.
