Acer announced a Ferrari special edition version of its Liquid E smartphone. The device sports a glossy red casing with a chrome trim, a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, and a “Scuderia Ferrari” shield that has carbon fiber details. Acer also redesigned the microphone to resemble the sportscar’s air-intake inlet.

Continuing the Ferrari theme, Acer revamped the user interface for fans of the Rossa. There’s a 5-page homescreen with a Ferrari wallpaper, and unique ringtones that emulate the Ferrari’s engine. The Liquid E Ferrari edition also comes with a red Bluetooth headset with the Ferrari logo on it.

The device should be available in July, although pricing has not yet been announced.
